The challenge
Our German client commissioned a local supplier to manufacture and assemble a lifting station for automotive body construction. The system was to be installed directly at the end customer’s site in China.
As no in-house personnel were available on site, supervising manufacturing and installation would have involved considerable organisational and financial effort.
At the same time, the implementation had to meet German quality requirements and ensure a smooth acceptance process.
Our solution
We provided full project support in China—from monitoring manufacturing at the local supplier through to inspecting the final installation at the end customer’s site. We ensured that all work was carried out in accordance with German quality standards.
Beyond the originally agreed scope of services, we optimised design details and manufactured customised components to ensure safe, on-time commissioning.
Close coordination between the German client, Chinese supplier and end customer enabled efficient project delivery without placing additional demands on our client’s internal resources.
